When ds came out of school on Friday (I think) he said he wanted to go to Newcastle. I questioned this as he knows how far it is as we went to Northumbria on holiday this year.

"Yes", he replied - "someone said it was snowing in Newcastle ...."

Just heard on the radio this morning that all of the UK is likely to have snow by the weekend. :cold1:

Same here Snowy. It was still -1 here at 9.30 this morning when i was going to the gym.

I bet we dont get snow in Bristol , we rarely get a decent amount. It would make it feel very christmassy though wouldn't it.

Hey, does that mean that by the weekend the whole country will grind to a halt??:D

I know Azzi!! We'll just have to stay in and be warm instead!!! I remember there was a big snow when I was pregnant with madam, it froze overnight and I couldn't walk up the street, fell several times and ended up sliding (on my butt) to the road because it had been gritted there and I had a chance of standing up, that was without crutches or a toddler to deal with so think I'll be staying in!

I'm now getting worried I'm going to get snowed in and not be able to get to the hospital :smiley-fa which wouldn't worry me so much but I need the gas and air

Thought I had gone into labour last night but it was a stomach bug, luckly I hadn't managed to wake OH before I realised

Kinda want to spend the day wrapped up on the sofa, but got to do some shopping as we have next to nothing in and as much as OH says I am good at making something out of nothing , I am starting to struggle a little
