I mean work wise! I am going to offer Christmas wrapping and decorate the Box Clever boxes with ribbons hopefully!
I'm also pondering buying in lots of Christmas type books and music but a bit worried in case it doesn't sell!
Would love to hear what you are all doing!

I'm going to be highlighting the Mummy necklaces and the baby wearing T shirts etc as great gifts for AP parents (DH is getting BW boxers for Xmas); I don't think that gift wrapping would be a good idea for my products particularly though!
I am trying to decide what to do about xmas posting at the moment - I usually use the PO, but am thinking of offering a courier for last minute delivery's but my only experiences of sending things by courier have been bad ones so far :-(

Lisa tbh I think the post office would be more reliable than some of the couriers...I have certainly had problems with some couriers in the past. What about charging slightly extra for the post offices next day registered delivery or something like that for people that leave it late. At least then it should be guaranteed to be there, although still hopefully cheaper than a courier.

That's a thought - Probably much easier to sort out as well.
Must add that to my to do list LOL

I think it's just going to be a case of getting everything out as quickly as possible and I'll probably continue using the Post Office but will find a courier for the bigger, heavy objects that have to be sent right before christmas
I think your idea of gift wrapping is lovely Choice btw. I don't think we'll be able to do it as apparently it's gets very manic in the main run up and the previous owners advised to get help with packaing just to get everything out, which is what we're going to do

I've been thinking about this and wouldn't mind a couple of opinions.
MotherLove (who do the nipple cream and More milk products on my site) do pregnancy, labour and new baby gift sets.
As I am doing a Pregnancy and birth show and a birth and baby show in NOvember (ie will be in front of lots of expectant mum) I was thinking of getting some of these in as a sort of Christmas/gift type line - but they aren't really the main part of my business. - do you think that I should go for it or not? ::confused::
TIA

Sorry I havent been on for a while so not responded to this one
I'd say maybe get a few nd see how it goes, if it bombs then pop them in sale and don't bother again but if they go well it may be a whole new product area for you
Good luck with the show Lisa, sounds like a good one

I agree I would get a few in but not go OTT with them, and then if they do well maybe you could then decide whether or not to do them all the time?

The good thing is that I don't need to go over the top as the company that I use ( and another company, which Is UK based so less postage) have low minimum orders.
I will be sorting myself out soon - Just a few, and then I could always take orders on the day If they are that popular.
(I keep Panicing cos it's less than a month to go now - Must remember those relaxation exercises)
