1. Name of Website and url - Fab Kidz www.fabkidz.co.uk
2. Type of business, and how long have you been in business for. Children's Toys & Gifts, been online since Nov 07

3. What software do you use - Oscommerce

4. Did you create the site yourself or use a web designer - The lurverly Alison at Daffodil Design (http://www.daffodil-design.com/)

I need honest opinions about this website. Everytime I look at it there's something not quite right and I can't put my finger on it. I think the colours are not working for me.

I think it needs tweaking but can't think what to do with it. (Daffs I hope you're not reading this :hysterica)

Rip it to shreds, I won't be offended

Very quickly, I love the logo but the colours in there don't work well with the site. I also like the site very much, it is a lovely design.

Also you need a picture towards the top as there is too much text and it needs breaking up.

Hth a little bit.

I was on the site last night after you posted your new items. The best sellers list is very difficult to read with the tiny white text.

Chell I did try to change that text but couldn't find where to do it. Might need Daffs on that one!

Would you be inclined to change the logo?

I do agree it doesn't match very well with the pink and lilac.

Do you mean a picture before the main text?

I'll come back, but i would say that changing the logo would be a shame. I think the site would hang together much better if you picked one of those lovely strong colours and surrounded the site with that instead of a light colour. It takes some nerve, but i was really pleased with PlayMerrily once Meg had done that.

Hi Tanya

In my humble opinion I think you would be better having your border in a colour from your logo - perhaps the purple (your letter Z) or the cerise pink and then the change the light blue you have to match too.

Lovely sight though.:happy72:

Damn it, I knew someone would say keep the logo :cheesy:

have to watch what I say here (not sure if this section gets 'googled') but the logo is made up of stock photo's and really should change it.

I have very very quickly moved the text around on the homepage, I'll change the images later.

what do you think?

Yeah that looks better - you don't sort of get lost reading the text now - its more eye catching I think.:party05:

I have a new logo for this site now but just needs putting on. I'm changing the border to a deeper pink to match the logo too.

I've just been adding some new stuff and was thinking if I have too many categories, didn't know whether to move some of them under a main category and have them as subs??

and I've just noticed there's an image missing on the homepage, need to go and fix that now *tut*
