Well, who watched it last night? I have to confess that I was a Take That fan, I thought the boys were brilliant and as they mentioned on the show last night, there hasn't been a boy band quite like them since!
Thought Robbie was a pratt for not showing up and he clearly thought by sending a video link that he was more important than the others. He seems to forget that without the others, Gary Barlow in particular he would never be where he is now.
He may have the fame & the glory that the others don't have but what a sad, bitter person he has turned out to be. He is jealous of the others and I think he does crave what they have - family life and normality - but he is too full of himself to give up on the whole Robbie Williams stage thing. He could walk away from everything and shun the limelight and have what Gary Barlow has but he wouldn't do that.
The others came across as really, decent fun guys. Mark was still cute & cuddly and just a fab bloke.
I ended up feeling sorry for Robbie Williams, despite his success he is really unhappy..........still!
It was fab hearing all their songs again and seeing that whole fan base crumbling into tears at the announcement when they split up was just quite laughable actually. I do remember my boss declining to give me the day off work when the split so that I could go home and mourn!

I just saw the last 1/2 hour of it, was sad that RW didn't show his face.
BTW does anyone else think Jason Orange is gay, we were all discussing it at work ansd are convinced he is. Anyway I feel like finding out where in the Lake Districk Mark lives, the lakes are virually on my doorstep.

Ooh, I don't know but I do wonder if he & Lulu got it together! They were both pretty coy about that!

I'm with you for that, even though I have to cross the border to get there. It will all be worth it!
Saw them on GMTV this morning, in fact I was coming over all giddy what with Take That & Johnny Depp in one morning!
They came across as pretty level-headed, decent guys who had a whole load of fun and can still have a laugh at themselves. The only loose cannon is Robbie.........
So whose got the Take That CD on their Christmas list then? :happy72:

OMG I loved this so much! I thought it was ace! I was such a HUGE fan of Take That and I won the Nobody Else album for being the biggest fan in vicinity of POmpey! (POrtsmouth) .
I have to say I did feel very similarly to all you about Robbie before this interview, but to be honest I think jason came over more bitter towards Robbie than anyone else did about anyone else. Please don't Shout but I honestly think Robbie didn't turn up not because he is too full of himself but quite the opposite. He feels inferior to them and I think he was being a coward not turning up But I do understand why! If he had said all those things on leaving Take That it would take a very strong person to face up to them and I think he all to well knows he is not strong enough to deal with that right now. He is very unhappy but he can't seem to drop the whole Robbie entertainer act cos he feels thats all there is too him! Basically so unconfident he relies on his alter ego to get through life. But I think he'll sort himself out in a while after all he has sobered up and as far as I know has remained so! He just needs the love of a stunningly beautiful (cos his alter ego would never settle for less.) Good Strong women. Unfortunately I don't think I would satisfy his alter ego however I think possible Mark Owen could tolerate me! LOL
Anyway I watched them on GMtv too and they all seemed great! What is that extra song again is it after tomorrow cos thats already on there nobody else album?
Thus all this lead me to listening to all there albums again since theinterview! LOL. Oh and MY GOODNESS did I SWOOOOOOOON!

I must say that I thought that Robbie really let himself down. He blamed the drink and drugs for his past behaviour but what was his reasoning for not showing up this time????? It was the perfect opportunity for him to get closure and to be a man. His recorded apologies to the rest of the lads were pointless, it was as if someone told him he had to do them.
I used to be a fan but now I'm not too sure:no:

Didnt you think it was the drink and drug that made him like that?
He was really young, and out of his depth.
I just think the others are cashing in on it being 10 years since Robbie walked away and did them all a favour. None of them would be up to much thses days if he'd stayed.
One thing I could never understand was why GB was the lead singer, he's sooooo boring and steady ( nice and comfy in a daddy sort of way!!) when it was always obvous who had the most talent!!
