Sharon I think it would look better if you were able to make the lines of text longer, are you able to do that?

Yes, agree with Toni, can you set you table that has a pink background there as a percentage rather than a fixed width? It looks fab in a low res browser but viewed on the next 2 settings higher, there is a lot of white space to the right which you could use. Can't please everyone though as I well know :) I hate having to try and be considerate to so many different screen resolutions and browsers   Looks fab anyway :)

Thanks for the suggestions. What percentage could I set it? Sorry, I have a lot to learn :blusingan
I've set it to 100%, is it better now? I am on a low res screen so I can't really tell.
Does that mean the rest of the site has a lot of white space everywhere as well on different screens?

its moved to the left hand side of my page there, let me look at your page source to see why

It does have a lot of white space to the right hand side in the pink box when I look at it too. I don't think it will look too crowded once you can get the layout sorted out though.

Thanks! I don't know what I am doing :smiley-fa I have a low screen resolution myself and it looks fine to me:hysterica I know thats not the point, but I can't see it to change it, and if I could see it (which i suppose I could by changing my settings) I don't think I could fix it anyway cryingsmil
To be honest I am too scared now to change screen res and look

Thanks so much! I feel such an idiot  I should have checked the screen res for myself ages ago.
MSN isn't working properly atm but I will re install it and see if it is ok. I'll have to come back later, dh wants the pc. Typical, just when I am in the middle of a major website crisis ;)

Sharon,
Let me know if I can be of any help. I think Daffs is sorting you out but do give me a shout if you want more input. Do you use style sheets? I'm wondering if you've got too many .a:hover links defined. Also, perhaps set the text to a larger size? And same suggestion as Daffs and raven re box width. HTH

Thanks everyone!
I am thinking of changing over to a 2 column style sheet and getting rid of the right hand box. It serves no useful purpose really.
The main pain then is going thru every page and changing the width value of the tables, but I suppose it has to be done
I am wondering if it is actually going to be worth it though. Dh says he will put a gift section on the ebay shop so I can try and just sell the stock I have. Once its gone it will be gone and I can write it all off to experience-a bad one!
I had planned on selling more than I have by now and making a second order with my suppliers before dec but unless I have a mad rush in the next few days it won't be worth it as two of my suppliers take 2 weeks to send out the goods!
Oh well, live and learn eh.

Sorry to hear that Sharon, it would be such a shame as you have some lovely things on there.

Thanks Toni.
I've managed to have a bit of a fiddle but I think it will just have to stay how it is now!

Hi!
I *always* worry about my home page and am still not happy with it. I've got a Wahmall shop and recently set up a Moonfruit "front" to my site with lots of pics and info. Unfortunately although it was easy to set up, the template is also quite limited and I just haven't achieved the look I was aiming for. I'm going to change all the colours in the next few days and hope I like it better because I'm just not happy with it at the moment!
