I've been watching the series - watched last week and this week, have it series linked on Sky.
I can't believe he would put himself in that position, it must have been petrifying for him - the fire fight that happened last night was so frightening, and that was just for me watching it.
It looks even "worse" next week, as it looks like one of the guys they are with whilst out on a mission gets hit :(

It is a really good series. Ross always does good documentaries - like the ones with the gangs. I think he is very sexy though.

Did anyone watch the entire series?? So sad tonight when one of the lads that we met in the first couple of episodes, was killed in action. My DH couldn't believe that with a sniper in the midsts, they still had to run across open land to get to where they needed to go - he said it was reminiscent of the old over the top scenario in WW1.
Seeing the men all reunited with their loved ones was truly moving, as was the interview with the killed Private.
An excellent series definitely worth watching.

It's a shame it was on sky it should be on prime time tv so that everyone could watch and realise what the troops are going through.

That horrified me - and that they were recommended to do that, just shows the shortcomings there are. The wages the privates were being paid, for risking life and limb, I thought was pretty pitiful tbh. I hope they repeat it on terrestrial or something as everyone needs to know whats going on.

I agree - I've seen some of them on Youtube as I can't get sky, b would like the series to be shown on tv.
It's dreadful that they have to take out their own insurance - especially as many personal policies exclude members of the forces.
