Reminder: Check the sorting office

Just a little reminder, if a parcel goes AWOL then always check at the sorting office or tell your customer to.

A parcel was sent to me last Monday but it never came. I popped to the sorting office yesterday on the off chance that it had been returned there but they'd not left a card.

The parcel was there, it had been addressed to No.8 instead of no.3.

We get loads backed marked 'not called for' yet the customer swears blind a) no card and b) they've rung and there's no parcel.
At least it keeps the total missing forever below 5 a year - we had loads missing from the postal strike and in the end only totally lost one!

I've had that happen, no card left and then it's shoved on a shelf in the sorting office. I always ask customers to check there first!

Wow! You are lucky. I've had 5 go missing and I've only been in business since April, so send far fewer parcels than you do.
