I am in the wrong business. At the moment I have a PO Box as I don't want to advertise my home address but it doesn't look very professional so have been looking around for mailing addresses local to me. I contacted one company and they wanted to charge me £25 per month plus a set up fee just to use their address and collect the mail that I would have to pick up. If I wanted it sending to me, they would charge me a further £25 per month.

Another company has just got back to me and they want £100 + VAT per month with a set up fee just for the mail side of things.

I am in the wrong business. Maybe I should hire an office and start this kind of service myself and undercut them. I honestly cannot believe that they would charge so much just for someone using their postal address.

is it something you could look into?

I am only jesting when I say it is a business I could go into. It would be my luck to get people doing dodgy dealings wanting a mailing address. :hysterica

Why don't you do what I did? I changed the name of my house to fit and then I don't give out the street number.

How does that work Lemon? So you don't have a house number anymore, just a name?

You still have a house number, for example:

Perfect Presents, 32 Mill Lane, London becomes Perfect Presents, Perfect House, Mill Lane, London.

They tell you that you still have to use the number but all my parcels and correspondence arrive fine on Character Kids, Character House, Newcombe Drive.

I applied online through the local Council - it doesn't even cost (I don't think).
