Does anyone know where I might be able to source an order for 110 packets of Sunflower seeds ?
Just normal packets of seeds, it's a one off for a promotional event but wouldn't need any branding or anything.
Thank you

Could you buy a big bag from the supermarket then put them into little bags yourself? That might be cheaper than buying 110. I presume the ones you eat are the same as those that you grow.

I thought that would be a cheaper option, but wasn't sure either so didn't want to chance them not growing !!
Thank you for the link will take a look :happy72:

I think that the ones you eat have been treated so they don't grow. Could be wrong, but sure I read it some where.

Do you know if that's the same for sunflowers supplied to pet shops for bird seed ?

They used to grow, my old neighbour used to fed the birds off an old table and she had alsort growing out of it. Was about 20years ago though, so don't know if it's still the case.

I don't know but assuming you want them for a tallest sunflower competition I think you'd be better off getting the proper plant seed as the ones birds eat are probably the shorter multiheaded varieties that you see growing in fields shrugshoulders111
Your best bet is probably trying to get hold of a seed wholesaler - or try phoning a few local garden centres and see what they'll give you as their best price (I'm sure buying that many they'd give you a discount)

There are quite a few seed sellers on ebay, perhaps they'd do you a deal.
