Ok I want to move away from Mr Shite so i emailed Store2go and they replied but i cant make head nor tail of it, probably coz im pregnant (god i love using that excuse :cheesy:)

You are most welcome to join us and to build your site using our store builder. We are however not domain name registrar and therefore you are unable to transfer yours to us. Please can I suggest the follwing?1. Register witb a domain name registrar, such as 123-reg.co.uk2. Transfer your domain to the domain name registrar. It's free.3. Sign up a Store2Go Premium account (you can also sign up before the above)4. Change the name servers of your domain name to our. This make your domain name pointed to your store.5. You can start trading The domain name transfer is free and the store cost you £5 per month. I hope this make sense. Please contact me again if you have further queries.

right go to http://www.123-reg.co.uk/domain-names and type in your domain name in the box and click transfer then we'll go through the next steps, it will probably come up with a list that says its taken but just tick the little box that says TRANSFER FOR FREE

once you change the nameservers etc your own site might disappear

You just need to point the DNS to the Store2go servers :happy72:.

I often had emails from the same bloke, I think - very efficient and polite - I get the impression he is from the Far East - possibly the owner.

When your new baby comes along perhaps you won't want a url with just your son's name. May be it is a good idea to get a new domain.

NO WAY !!! That's ridiculous. I didn't realise you had to pay to get away from them !!! I'm just having a new site built with ekmpowershop so will need to change my domain name from Mr Site to ekm, so I guess I'll have to pay :hissyfit:

It's bad enough that Mr Site are providing a poor service, but to have to pay to get away from them is soooo frustrating. I wouldn't mind, but I only renewed my Mr Site site at the beginning of December - if I'd have known I was going to have this much trouble, I wouldn't have bothered !
