My mums are pressuring me to include basic baby signing into the baby class. Can you tell which of your books is the easiest? My mind is so rammed full of lyrics etc I really need it to be simple!!!!!!! I think it will be words like 'milk' hungry, thirsty, more etc, I don't think I have the energy to sign whole nursery rhymes. I used to have the Joseph Garcia book with DS2 but it's long gone to the carboot. Thanking you in advance:hyper:

The sign for milk is here (http://www.chelltune.co.uk/baby-signing-questions.php?osCsid=36dff331e40ebd2a0f9ba145eeee5 cc6), that is the Bristish sign. Most baby signing groups use the American sign as it is easier for little hands to produce.
If you look on my forum (http://www.chelltune.co.uk/forum) in the questions section you'll find some images of signs that people have asked me for.
The Child's Play (http://www.chelltune.co.uk/childs-play-m-12.html) books contain signs for Nursery Rhymes - look for 'Sign and Sign-along' in the title.

These flashcards (http://www.chelltune.co.uk/flashcards-c-44.html) are A6 so if you displayed them on a board then perhaps they would be big enough for the parents/carers to see?

Thanks Chell - order placed so if anyone hears a brain combusting next week, it will be me! They better all join in next week ....... any repeat of the wk1 baby dancing experience and I'm just going to cry (I was left alone doing what felt like a fab impersonation of Ricky Gervaise in Extras, while they clutched their tinies to them) - they all love baby dancing, especially the tango, now. What an odd world I inhabit!

:cheesy: Good luck! Perhaps just stick to one or two signs, don't get too brave at first. :cheesy: Let me know if there is anything not in your books that you think you might need. ...... and once they get really good can you get them to pose for some photos for my site. :happy72:

Forgot they could be on here too - if you are a happy Jellybean then you all know that Elizabeth thinks you and your children are all wonderful, gorgeous and she just wants to protect your children from perverts looking at their photos - business is growing slowly but steadily and I've got a new venue opening in Feb which will mean I am working every morning. I've got a weekly contract with the local Surestart which is fab plus a primary school. Interestingly parties are doing really well and I am thinking of expanding the party business into lego parties for 5-7yrs olds.

Sounds like you are doing really well. Round here there seems to be a shortage of entertainers for birthday parties. Everything I looked at for DS was extortionate so we are going with traditional party games.
Are you enjoying it all?

I love it. I am working so hard, feel very snappy with everyone at home, constantly trying to improve, innovate the product, but as soon as the opening song music starts then I just feel the smile on my face becoming genuine and I'm off again. I did'nt realise how much I had missed it during my 'year off'. It is no where near bringing in the numbers I wanted (and was used to with the last business) but I think it will make it and it is making enough of a profit for me to be able to pay my mum back for some of her initial investment. If you want any ideas for DS party then let me know - I'm not hustling for trade honest! (don't forget your whistle to maintain order.....)

The whistle sounds like a good idea. :happy72: Glad to hear that things are going well considering it is all so new.
