Anyone use Opera on Tiscali?
I have begun using Opera as my default browser yet during certain times of the week I cannot check mail using Outlook Express or surf using Opera :fryingpan: Yet IE and FF are fine...

Any ideas why outlook doesn't work as well? it's both of them stop working together?
Due to the time it happens, peak times for internet use, I personally think the people at tiscali are blocking opera as they don't know what it is.
I don't know why outlook is being affected though.

Does sound strange. Presume you have tried clearing the cookies to see if that makes any difference?

Tiscali have held up there hands and admitted they where playing silly buggers with "bandwidth throttling" which could well have been causing the problems we were having with Opera and Outlook
they have promised to stop it now as well.
BUT.....
Other ISP's might try this, and tiscali might go back and do it again, it's all because they oversell the bandwidth, then at peak times run out.
