Not as such, no.

There is an attachment parenting section, or under 1's ...

Hope this helps.

If anyone has any bf questions or suggestions then we usually put it in the under 1's (http://www.mumszone.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=46) section or pregnancy labour and birth (http://www.mumszone.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=17). There is a lot of support available and plenty of advice. I think (Please someone correct me if I'm wrong) Olive Oil is a breast feeding peer support and I'm sure she wouldn't mind giving some advice as well.

Unfortunately we cannot have a lot of individual sections for different subjects, the forum would be too long and that would put people off.

As has been said there is plenty of support available it just doesn't have it's own specific section!

 thats right! Im a NHS trained breastfeeding Peer supporter...and so is Shazgh! As has already been suggested, the best place would be the pregnancy/ttc section or under 1's.

welcome to mumszone! :sign16:

Thankyou :kisshands: Its ok though, I dont need advice personally (7 months in and still going strong) but I did have major struggles in the beginning and ended up hiring a Lactation Consultant (I was in the States at the time). After the hardest 6 weeks of my life, all the problems were finally resolved, and now I'd like to offer support to others. Its such a sad thing that so many people give up because they don't have adequate support or information cryingsmil

Olive Oil, do you actually work under the NHS a a peer supporter? or is it through another organisation?

We have a BF support network in my area called Mum2Mum, it was started by someone who works in the NHS. The NHS train us, and we are classed as volunteers. The network runs all over staffordshire and we run cafes for mums to come and get advice etc.

There are different organisations around the country that do the same sort of thing although im not sure who is attached to the nhs and who is not.
