Really Worried

The boys are going to stay with my brother tomorrow night and im now slightly panicked

Dont get me wrong he wont let anything happen to them but i just dont know now

He is 19 (nearly 20) lives with his girlfriend who has 2 kids from before he got with her those 2 boys are the same age as jack and alex
Girlfriend is the same age as me (26) and they have another son together who is 15 weeks old

We dont see each other all that often but are close dispite this

GF is absolutley lovely and a fantastic mum brother is an amazing dad to all 3 despite his age and the fact only one of them is his

I dont know why im worried really its just they have never even visited there before let alone stay the night
My boys asked my brother if they could stay and both him and his girlfriend said yes straight away and i know they will look after them but why am i so bloody worried ?

They do have a dog which im not keen on for the simple fact that i wont be there so i will make it clear i dont want them left alone with the dog

I just feel uneasy even though i know they will be well looked after

I may ring tomorrow and explain my concerns to my brother i know he will be fine about it

I think it is mainly because of the dog even though she is really soppy i dont know her well and she has never met my 2

What do you think i should do ?
The kids are really looking forward to it so feel bad not letting them go

Is it only the dog you're worried about? Have you told your brother how worried you are? If you trust you brother then try to enjoy your night of freedom - go out with OH - FFS you deserve it!

Im going to speak to my brother and say just dont leave them on alone with the dog esp alex as he can be heavy handed with animals

I spose i have to let it happen as my boys and his boys are close considering they have only been together a few times they have really hit it off and i want things to stay that way

Im going to make it clear about the dog though which im sure he will be fine about

Just spoke to dp (hes getting ready for work) and he says he is fine with the kids going but if it were my other brother then NO WAY in a million years

i know i have to let them go and once this one turns out ok then i will be fine lol

Part of me still thinks my brother is still a baby and not old enough to look after kids let alone have 3 of his own lmao :cheesy:

DP just said he trusts sharon (brothers gf) and tbh i do as well she is fantastic with her kids as is brother

I will just explain to him about the dog
TBH i dont think it will be to much of an issue as they have a 15 week old baby and im pretty certain he dont get left in the room with it

Its odd cos i have never felt this uneasy about the boys sleeping somewhere

Maybe because it has always been dp family that has had them or my mum i dont know but im on edge really bad having disturbing thoughts

Was hoping to get some sleep tonight but obv not
