Thought I would make an easy dinner tonight because we will be over indulging so much over the coming days.
Got jacket potatoes, went to put them in the microwave before crisping them over in the oven.
The bl**dy microwave isn't working. Hasn't been for about a month but I've been trying to hold off for the January sales before buying one (well actually the top of the microwave is covered in paperwork which has seemed too big a job to tackle if I'm being completely honest so decided that I would wait until I had time to clear a space for the new one - despite telling DH we would wait until the sales as it wasn't worth listening to him moaning again!!).

EDITED TO ADD:
Just missed a call on my mobile so called the number back and it was from a "marketing company" that has many different accounts. Can you believe some t*ss*r is trying to make sales calls at 5:45pm on Christmas Eve.

Glad I missed it or I would have given someone a very "merry" Christmas message - not!
