So Worried.

Anyways-you will know who I am n who it is about. Im so worried bout my sister-the other week I lent her £100 to buy food n nappies n now today she has emailed saying the phone,telly n net will be turned off cos they owe £180(its a all in one package thingy)-jesus how many months in arrears are they!!!!!!! She is the only one who works he is signed of sick atm(genuine).What pees me off tho is that they could live so much more less expensively itms-the dp likes his labels, shopping at Howells n Debenhams etc for food etc-ive explained they have a 1 bed flat n it costs them more than my 3 bed house does a month-if they left the city n moved either here or near my mam both place have trains to the city for her work at not a lot of cost-they could rent a 2 bed place for £100 less than they pay now for the flat and they wouldnt pay any childminding cos id have my nephew 24/7 if needs be to help but the dp wont leave the city-ffs!!!!

Sorrry im just so worried that things will run away wth them n they will get to the point were they have nothing n no money n then what-id never let them loose my nephew-id have him if it come to that but its so worrying.

My nan has said she will help them but THEY have to ask which is fair enough but wether they will is another thing.

Soz panic over im just worried.

Sorry not much advice apart from not lending them any more cash till they get sorted a bit more. Shame for your nephew tho x

Lol yeah know ou know who it is but members of my family mean to sing up n im not sure how many know the probs n if she joined then fink she would rather I did it anon itms.

My sister knows n is panicing like a wild one but he dont seem to care which is worrying her like mad. Wont be lending more that for sure-if I do owt il do an online shop to be delivered so at least I know the little lad l get fed itms.

Thats a good idea, online shopping, then you know she has stuff in and isnt spending the money on stuff she shouldnt be.
But in a sense they have to get out the hole before it gets too bad , they cant really rely on people can they

Nope n tbh theres only so much I can spare itms as we also have bills plus kids etc. Just wish her dp would wise up n smell the coffee tbh. Im just worried bout my nephew mainly.

Yeah I can totally understand that, god I dont know what to suggest, apart from you having him so many times a week if poss? At least you`ll know hes fed and that ?

You cant go on for ever bailing them out, they`ll rely on you more and more.

Ive thought of that-even if the dad maybe did a few hours work a couple of times a week itms to top up the cash flow n id have him itms-my sister is pretty easy to talk to so long as the dp aint there. Other thing I thought of is for the next say month just drive up n turn up without plan itms just to see what the situation is like itms n take from there. I cant afford to bail them out all the time n my other sis and also my parents are struggling too so im kinda stuck itms as really they all need my help but theres only so much I can do but at least my other sis and my parents budjet itms-this sis dont seem to know how to. My sis would sooner go hungry herself itms than ever let my nephew go without she worships him I know that but argh.......why is life so complicated!!!!!!!!

Im afraid there isnt much you can do really, if she wont help herself tho, and unfortunatly, it will catch up with her sooner rather than later
But, as long as the lads ok, thats the main thing.

I really dont know what else to suggest - or what to do, till she sort of comes to you or goes to the CAB, you know like reaches out for help? then theres nothing anyone can do really. Yes life is so very complicated, and it sounds like your more worried than she is :(

O if I see something not good il just insit on takeing my nephew til things change-in fact im considering offering that so she knows if things get hard she dont have to worry bout asking itms. Think il mention CAB to her tho over the xmas period ive no idea when they would be open tbh.

Well there aint much more I can do tonight-my dad said he is going to ring them n check they are ok til Sunday when he goes up so im going to go have a bath n ring him n see how the land lies.
