I got a letter today from my old car insurer, my car was written off when a drunken driver crashed into it he over turned and had to be cut from his car. As I only had Third Party fire and theft I couldn't get any money for the car. The case was passed to the Legal expenses department. This letter says that the third party is ignoring their letters and that they are chasing them!!, this is all I have ever heard from them. As the Police were involved I gave them all the officers details and they should have been able to get info from them. I had given up on this situation ages ago, two years down the line they are still no further forward than a couple of weeks after the crash. I am going to write them a letter I think!!!!
