:angry: he's just spilt BRIGHT RED INK on the kitchen floor. its ruined.
its lamp bulb laquer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there is no way its going to come out, looks like the scene of a murder!!
and now im going to have eat the kids selection boxes..
(don't worry i will replace them)
argh!! what a plonker for want of better words

Draw a body on the floor with masking tape where the "blood" is. That'll give the kids something to talk about in the morning.:cheesy:

well its not split. its SPLATTERED the entire floor. it will need replacing, its not going to come out!!
will see if i can take a picture :angry:

I love the magic erasers - I always have a box in the cupboard to cut up and use :happy72:

If that doesn't work, would using a blade of some sort and scraping it off work? Works on our floor when DH brings in lovely urethane etc

Not sure if it would work on vinyl but witch hazel gets ink off most things :happy72:

daft question, do you know what sort of ink it was? if it is oil based, petrolium gelly (vasoline). smear some on to a bit of the stain, and leave it for an hour, it should draw most of the ink up, and then clean it with Swarfega (you know the stuff for cleaning oily hands) if that dosnt shift it, it means the ink has soaked into the vinyl, and it will need replacing sorry
