Bury, Manchester, October 2005: WickID Tagz add a - WickID - new dimension to the IdentiKids child identification range especially for 7 to 11 year olds. WickID Tagz are perfect if your kids are to young to carry their own mobile or have problems remembering your number whilst out and about. The Tagz have the cool look just right for the image conscious pre-teen.
The WickId Tagz have been thoroughly trialled. Mums and kids alike have found them a 'runaway' success. They come in WickID packaging with safety tips on the reverse written and “Tagged†by Abbie, the 8 year old daughter of the IdentiKids creators.
Mums love the reassurance the wristbands bring them - if you do get separated from your child, then you really are only a phone call away from getting them back safely. Kids just adore wearing the Tagz for their pure WickIDness!
Celebrity mums are catching on to the IdentiKids range too. TV presenter Emma Forbes is a fan and says “I think these wristbands are a fantastic idea – it’s every parent’s worst nightmare losing a child at an airport or shopping centre, and I always write my number on their arm!! So these wristbands are a great step forward!â€.
Nadine Lewis, Managing Director says “My eldest daughter Abbie is 8 and wanted the security of wearing an IdentiKids ID wristband like her younger brother and sister but was increasingly embarrassed by the "If I’m lost" wording. We worked with Abbie and her friends to develop a band that would be suit them. The kids wanted a 'cool' phrase that was appealing to her age group. It was only when I heard her repeatedly calling things wicked that I came up with the idea of naming the wristbands WickID. A 7 to 11 year old will be able to ask for assistance and explain that their parent’s mobile number is written inside the band, making sure that they are safe as soon as possibleâ€.
WickID wristbands can be purchased on line at www.identifyme.co.uk, in all WHSmiths Travel Shops, Boots and Center Parcs with prices starting from £6.90 for a pack of three.
