Here's my first email take note of my address on the email

I ordered a spongebob squarepants annual at my local whitehaven store at the begining of november 2007. I paid for it and was told it would be in on the 11th december. I wasnt told to keep the receipt to prove i had brought and its not be delivered to the store. I am therefore wondering what will happen when it is (or maybe if) delivered to my local store before christmas if i have nothing to prove it is my item? If i cant have the annual i would like my money back please. I hope you can help me with this situation.

Thank you for your e-mail.
I was sorry to read that you have not received your order for the ‘SpongeBob SquarePants Annual: 2008’ and I apologise for the inconvenience caused.
I can confirm that this item was cancelled by our suppliers on the 15th November, 2007 as this product is no longer available.
I can also confirm that according to our systems you have received a refund for this item on this date for the sum of £4.99.
Please accept my apologise for the inconvenience caused.
so i sent back this reply:
With reference to your email dated 13th December 2007, concerning my order in which you state that the order was cancelled by your suppliers. I was not notified of the cancellation and i can categorically state that i received no refund. I would appreciate a reply and the aforementioned refund at your earliest convenience.
this is the reply i got back now remeber my address i sent to them in the foirst email?

Thank you for your e-mail.
The reason that we have not refunded you as yet is that we do not have an address to send the cheque to.
It may be possible to go to store and gain a refund that way.
I apologise for any inconvenience caused
I have sent a reply back telling them i gave an address in my first email but if they missed it here it was again. Hopefully i will get a cheque now :happy72:
