So I renewed my licence this year - how much do you want to bet that my details have been lost? Between this, the letter from Child Benefit and the screw up with income tax (got a letter at the weekend saying I was receiving a benefit when I've never claimed any unemployment benefits in my life) I really have lost complete faith in government agencies.

make you wonder what would happen if they were allowed to bring the ID cards in! They would have ALL detail on them!! It wouldn't be stopping ID theft, it would be making it easier, particully if they 'lost' those details!
