Signed up a while back, but too shy to say hello... well now I've got my brave hat on... so here goes,
I live in Aylesbury, gave up work as a book keeper 2 years ago as I was feeling 'just too old & tired' to be working long hours and now run my own online business selling bedwetting alarms - and working more hours than I have ever worked in my life!!!!
I am married with 4 children (the 4th child being a bit of an after thought.... - don't know what I was thinking at the time!!!)
My eldest son is 25, and was diagnosed with ADHD at 13 - so a bit late to help him, as ADHD was pretty unheard of back then.... it was still classed as the 'bad parent/naughty child excuse'... 2nd son 'fine'.... 3rd son just ADD (no H) and Daughter - well she's a girl - what can I say....!!!!! more trouble than the other 3 put together
So there you go just a quick insight into my muddled life so far - hope to get to know you all a little better, and maybe I can pass on some rays of hope for any of you out there with ADHD children - even if its just to say that, they do get older... find girlfriends/boyfriends and then it becomes their problem and you can finally sit back and breathe...!!!!
