Are you allowed to advertise your website when you sell something on EBAY?

not if you are selling items on the website you are advertising, the reason being is you will be avoiding fees from ebay if you sold through your site.
BUT I have my website addy (minus the dots)as my user name and that is allowed.

So if, for example I sold my phone on EBAY and removed any reference to it on here I could add mumszone.co.uk?

right had a look and the new policy is that you can't add a link to your item unless it is a further description to your item or a link to your 'about me'page within ebay or a page stating your terms for trading
BUT
you can put the link into your 'about me'page as long as the link is not to a site that woud be selling something that would deemed able for ebay fees.
So what I would suggest is do a nice about me page using the logo ect and then in your item make a big thing about visiting you about me page.
