Any tips to stop my cat climbin my tree? I reckon when it goes up on Fri/Sat she'll be up it. It's her 1st Christmas and DFs is paranoid we'll come in from work n the tree will be n the floor! :smiley-fa

errrrm .................... sorry no i dont know, dont have pets, what attracts the cats to the tree is it the dangly things?

She likes to play with anything hehe! I think something new like the tree will be a haven for her!

Lol she`ll be up there and not much you can do about it, apart from clap or something when she does it, but then she`ll pull the tree down .

oh fabby - she'll have it down when we're not in!! Might have to weigh it down with bricks lmao!

we had some training spray for ours and if they went near they got a squirt. You can use plain water, but for the determind kitty add some lemon/orange/line juice

i tie mine around the middle and near bottom of trunk with string and fasten it to small nails in the wall...i just stick some filler in the wall and paint when dry after xmas.
my tree hasnt fallen over yet, and fidget is a fat cat...she has knocked a ball or 2 off, just glad it hasnt toppled :hysterica

I wouldnt know what to suggest, never had that problem had a hyper puppy that liked to remove the decorations tho and a little boy dog that felt the need to wee up it..LOL

Is there no way you could keep the cat out of the room ?
