Comedy legend Ronnie Barker dies.

British TV comedy actor Ronnie Barker, who starred in Porridge and The Two Ronnies, has died aged 76.

The actor had a long history of heart trouble.

I think this is very sad news.

:no: Aww thats a shame. I used to love watching the two ronnies when I was younger but havent heard much at all from this ronnie recently.

it is sad news indeed.

It would have been nice to see the Two Ronnies together on stage when they got inducted into the avenue of Stars the other week but at least there is one more permanant reminder of the two of them to go with the shows they did - they where very funny. His comedy could be suggestive but never rude and I still think the four candles/fork handles sketch is funny.

The Two Ronnies were brilliant and a regular saturday night's viewing when I was growing up. So sad that he has died.
