Santa Claus is Coming to town!

…..So Be Good for goodness sake

Christmas is one of the most exciting times of the year for kids – and over-excitement can make it a hard time for mum and dad to insist on good behaviour. Few modern kids will just be good ‘for goodness sake’, but ‘Countdown to Christmas’ charts from Reward Board encourage children to behave well, and will keep them motivated right up until Christmas day.

The reusable reward chart/advent calendar comes with 24 reusable star stickers and a leaflet about how to use it effectively. Vicki Hill, owner of Reward Board, says “These reward boards really do motivate children to improve their behaviour. Most children are told that they must be good for Santa to visit! This chart monitors their behaviour throughout the month of December. The leaflet explains how you can help by setting clear standards of behaviour and rewarding your child appropriately”

The chart is also an excellent way of developing number recognition. Each star is numbered so like an advent calendar children have to find the appropriate place for their sticker. As both the stars and the chart are completely reusable, this product can be used year after year ensuring that your child behaves appropriately every December!

The reward charts go on sale at http://www.rewardboard.co.uk on 1st October 2005 and prices start from just £4.99 including posting and packing. The company also produce boards to encourage positive parenting and supply other motivational resources such as stickers, wristbands and reward coins.
