Well, finances are all in place and week after next I shall be handing my notice in at work (currently signed off with PND, largely due to work and missing my son all day). I have just signed up as an Usborne Organiser and am having my first party soon :)

good luck - hope it goes well. Really helped when I had PND to have something of my own to work on - hope this helps you too. It;s great to be able to plan work the way you want it and do it at a pace that suits you too

Hi

have you had your first party yet? How did it go? This is the best time of year to get into usborne because everybody is looking for gift ideas. Hope it all went/goes well and that you enjoy it as much as I do! :D

My first party is tomorrow night - I'm very nervous!!!! I've gone through my books (borrowed some from my recruiter) and picked out 3 or 4 I'm going to talk about and then just see what happens from there.

I've had 4 orders already from people who couldn't come to the party so that's not too bad.

Oops - sorry forgot to update!

It went REALLY well. I was nervous but it was just my friends so they didn't mind. They said I was really good though and really sold the books. They also said that it helped that I had targeted the selection on display for the age and sex of the children they had (mainly girls so my table looked very pink!)

Did £186 of sales and spent all my commission on stock. I have 3 more parties lined up now.

Your confidence will grow really quickly but by the sounds of things you're going to really suit this. Good stuff :clapping:
