if you're a business trading on ebay, OFT are clamping down on the Distance Selling Regulations

About time too, there are some right rogue dealers out there. None of which frequent mz of course.

Its the ones who run businesses and don't declare it to the tax man that I can't stand. Don't see why we should have to pay their share too.

Absolutely!

I think the guidelines for buyers are a good thing. I hate to see people saying they will not refund if the item does not fit - this is the main reason someone will need to make a return!

However, I would like to see ebay making it a faster process for people to claim the full fees back when buyers let you down either by changing minds 20 seconds after bidding or just disappearing of the planet.

I have noticed a change in the ebay buying culture this year - its not been as enjoyable! Far more buyers seem to be unreasonable :o(
I have had at least three people bid on auctions and after either try to change the final price, negoatiate free postage or just say they changed their mind.

God, I feel miserable today.
