Firstly I'm looking for an organic present for R (1 next week), I was thinking of a blanket or comforter - although she has a cozzi type already!
Spam me!
Secondly
I have another hairbrained idea buzzing about at the mo and am gathering info.
Please could you post here or pm me websites etc which sell ethical/green/organic toys?
I've noted Knotjustjigs and Anaratoys.
I'd prefer toy sites with an ethical outlook if possible rather than sites which sell lots of stuff, some of which are toys, or toy sites which only offer a range of ethical toys amongst non-ethical iyswim.
(i'm not moving into toy selling BTW!)
Thanks!

what do you mean by ethical outlook?
www.susumama.co.uk is fair trade and worth a look I've always been happy with her products.
Can I pick your brains re getting organic tops made sometime?
Cheers

I don't think I'd fit with your fair trade, I do a lot of fair trade toys but not entirely.

The puppets (http://www.chelltune.co.uk/index.php?cPath=59) that I sell say on the label that they are 'fairly traded'. I've been very green for my first fair and bought paper bags to put them in as I hate carriers, is that green enough? :cheesy:

I have some just not on the site yet:
http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u226/maddy8125/naturalblanketmain.jpg
Very high quality organic cotton cellular blanket. Beautifully knitted to give breathability but with all the thermal qualities of pure cotton. Machine washable. Measures 73cm x 73cm.
(Bunny not included)

The flat body makes him easy for little hands to hold, and the soft, colour-grown, organic cotton makes him the perfect first toy. No dyes are used in his manufacture.

The softest, cutest, little bear; ideal for cuddling up to in bed. Huggy Bear is knitted in organic, colour-grown cotton, no dyes are used in his manufacture. All his features are stitched on, so Huggy Bear is suitable from birth.

We are very strict with all our suppliers and they need to manufacture to high ethical and environmental standards.
Not sure if that answers your second question?

I do. A good majority of mine are all ethical.
All bookends, the wooden height charts, wooden educational jigsaws, skipping ropes, fairy letters.
I also have some money boxes, Noahs ark beautiful toys, and a pull along which are all ethical but I havent had chance to list them yet but can send images etc if you are interested.
I am very much interested in ethical toys, products and an ethical way of life. I took part in a fair last weekend which was purely ethical and organic produce/products and it was amazing :D
If you want to tell you specfic details about how they are made etc I will be more than happy to
