to change a white background to transparent without trying to cut it all out etc? The backgrounds are white, but I need them transparent.

I have photoshop and paintshop pro.

If anyone can help I'll love you forever.

In Photoshop you can use the 'Magic eraser tool' it is one of the options under Eraser. It makes it look like grey and white checks within Photoshop, so that you know which bits are transparent. You can change the tolerance, to allow similar colours to be erased (for example if you need slight shadows to be erased with it). Zero tolerance means that only that exact shade will be erased.

See I've been all quiet coz I've been working lol - actually I'm ready to chuck the puter through the bleep bleep window!

Anyway, I've been doing these:-

I've given necklaces and bracelets a bit of an overhaul already, but, getting rapidly fed up so no doubt will play again with it tomorrow.

Quite proud of those pictures, I started with a blank category box that my old designers gave me, found a background then pasted that into it then I overlaid the jewellery pictures.

Taken me hours and hours!

There are a few small errors in there (like some of the cufflink was chopped out) but I'll be blown if I do it again!
