Last night dd must have woken up and went for a crawl around our bed last night ... me and DP were both woken by her falling off the bed at 3:30!

Now not sure what to do about her sleeping in our bed as we don't want her to fall again.. but I can't get her to sleep the whole night in her cot.

I've suggested to DP that he makes some cot sides for our bed haha

My first two always slept in my bed, and my DS2 half sleeps in his cotbed, and half in the bed ( this is for my benifit I must add)

When DS1 was in my bed, I bought a large bed guard for my bed, not too sure what u could do about the bottom of the bed tho lol, as they like to sneak out there too.
Or even get one for there to !
Voila.. a huge cot lol.

Think we'll try putting a spare mattress on the floor for now ... hope she doesn't do it again!

She might nick off round the room this time lol.

At least she wont fall off the bed tho. My DS1 once did and I swear my heart stopped.

we've got the travel cot up against one side of the bed and a bed guard rail against the other lol.

yep... bed rails, bed sideways to wall, pad the floor, make yourself a literal bed-room (ie floor the room with mattress, lol) a cosleeper-cot? It's pretty much an occupational hazard :)

Ds did it - but only once. We had the bed up against the wall on one side. Hope she stays on board tonight

We have our mattress on the floor. It saves any future worry of falls and works great for us!

My sister had this with her son, sleep crawling she calls it lol!

She had no choice but to settle him in the cot, because he did it so much. It was a tough few nights for all but he got there in the end!

He now sleep crawls in his cot.

just make sure you have the stair gate securely on......she will soon figure out how to 'fall' off the bed silently. one thing falling of the bed, tis another going down the stairs xxxx

I had 2 KS mattresses on the floor - the whole room was like a giant family bed!!

As it's already been said, matress on the floor works for us. Poor little tinker!
