Ooooooo bit miffed!!

I've never run a competition before so I dont know if this is how it normally happens - but I've seen my competition listed somewhere (which is fantastic :happy72:) but directly underneath it someone has posted the answer!! cryingsmil

Does this usually happen? I mean it doesnt make a lot of difference to me I guess, it's just made it far too easy and - oh i dunno seems like cheating!

If it is on MSE, someone always posts the answer.

It is annoying at times as you would like someone to go onto your site and have a good look around.

and 119 people have viewed it and probably done the comp and had a browse, its always the same they moan at ya if you dont put the answer on then someone else comes along and does it, lol nah its good to get lots of publicity....I think

Whassat - I dont know what rules people normally use when deciding what is the right answer, but I have had a few peeps mis-spelling and loads of people putting his full-name, all of which I have accepted as correct answers!! So no need for another go!! :D

You can submit it to Loquax yourself. I used Wiki whatsitsname for the answer.

I actually won a wii about two months ago which is all sealed nicely upstairs and I will be using as a gift - no matter how silly the money being paid for them on ebay is!! ;)

Well it has a month to run so I'll see how it goes, I'm hoping it does well so I could do this kinda thing more often!

I'd rather spend money doing this than adwords - I'm not convinced by them at all! What are other peoples opinions on adwords as I'm quite new to this website thing. Does it really bring real traffic to your sites? Maybe its just me being naive (AGAIN)
as I havent noticed any great difference when I'm running them to when I'm not!

If you submit your comp to loquax, you'll get a lot of people on your site, & loquax just post the comps, not the comps & the answers, so people will have to look the answers up themselves if they enter via loquax. That would be better for you.

Thanks runragged...I had submitted the competition to loquax and freeukcompetitions - I think thats what the second one is called anyway!

Dont think they are on there yet though!

erm about all of them, there is a secret one aswell and I cant remember the address of it:cheesy:, used to get lots of good comps off there, since comping I think I am a member of every parenting site(but this is the one I post on), every bbc site, every uktv site and many many more

Well thanks for everyones help....wouldn't have found some of those competition sites without it! I'm now listed on a few of them and getting answers by the bucketfull!!

Still suprised that people arent reading the question properly though!! I'm getting quite a few wrong answers!! :sign07:
