I've just been sat Googling for images. Nadine, who is doing yours? Is it expensive (if you don't mind me asking ) I am trying to decide whether to add something my self or pay for them.

Vicky from Enhance-Me does my images for me, I have quite a few done - she is doing the side picture and the category pictures to match, plus I'm not sure if I'm having a header done if I'm doing that myself, I need to decide but I need to see what has been done first.

Re the expense - individually they are not expensive however when we add them all up, then are a fair amount of pictures that need doing and therefore that is obviously reflected in the end price (is that tactful enough??).

I still add the images myself though at the end and change the header and then I need to change the colour of the lead text and all that sort of thing so a fair bit of work will still need to take place on the site to get it to a state I'm happy with.

I can't wait to see the images though, I'm like a big kid!

I was planning after Bonfire night to start with the Christmas themes although I've been doing some "research" today and a lot of sites are now really Wintery/Christmassy.

Can you use istock images to decorate your header? I know there are rules about them being in your logo.

A site to purchase photos/images from which you are allowed to use on your site.

Hi, yes I have bought istock images (although they are not on the website yet!). You can use them in your website, on your header but not in or as part of a logo.
I think you can also use them in promotional material so long as the volume is not above a certain amount.
Now I am getting vague so I'll go!!!
It tells you on istock website.

Thanks Chris, I've coped out for now and emailed DHs niece and asked her to help me do something as she is a graphic designer. I bet the lazy beggar won't reply till after Christmas though so I might be back to the drawing board :cheesy:

I have istock credits so may still use those.
