I wont even mention that it's taking 19 days for orders to reach my customers.
but what's really upsetting me is that our local PO is on the list to be closed.
If that's the case, it would take me about 1h30 to go to the next one and back every day, with 2 kids! Lovely.

Tell me about it. Our local one is 'proposed' to be closed. Luckerly I do have the main one which isn't very far from me but I liked using the little one.

Thats awful - it must be so hard for pensioners etc who need the PO to collect pensions etc. They closed our local one a few years ago, but we had 2 in this area, so it only seemed fair!

Our PO woman told us, she isn't supposed to get involved but she told me there would be a user meeting soon.
It's bizarre, she used to be an absolute PITA and now, she is super-lovely, I wonder what happened to her

Well my postman is lovely all the time and goes out of his way to help people. The day before the strike, he had something to deliver to me that was too big to go through the letterbox, he spend time tracking down one of the neighbours who would take it for me as I was out so that it didn't have to go back to the sorting office. And the other day he put a bar of chocolate through with my letters. :hyper:
I am usually at the desk when the post comes and always call Thanks as he pushes it through but last friday I called I only want it if it is something nice :cheesy:

I still have orders from the 10th outstanding, furious isn't the word! It would have been quicker if I had hired a van and did it myself!
