Im thinking of putting Maddi's rocking "LOTTY" the ladybird on ebay, but unsure about posting it. Would i just take it to the post office as normal? I also have a Vtech first steps walker, which she had in July for her birthday, which is hardly used too.
What would u do?

its prob best to arrange for a courier to deliver them ,i have no idea how much they would charge though, ive never posted any big items yet ,
You could take it and weight at post office before sending. I know a friend who did this with some ice-skates.
Don't me like me though - I took a parcel today and it ended up twice the amount I put for postage, have ended up sending parcel post but still more than I stated.
Good luck and hope you are able to sell the item s you want

bulky items I do local pick up only, can't be bothered with the hassle of packaging and posting

You definitely need to weigh the rocking ladybird first as it will be quite heavy. You may find it is cheaper to arrange a courier to collect it then it is to even send by Standard Parcels though.
There are some cheap(ish!) couriers online (Parcel2go, interparcel, etc). You will probably find that you only get local people bidding anyway, as the postage costs will put most people off. Couriers usually insist that things are in boxes, so make sure you have a box big enough too!

If you use Parcel2go then look on www.hotdealsuk.com I don;t know if their terms have changed but I sent a double buggy with them wrapped in bubble wrap and black bags.
I do the same with parcel2go... just wrap in black sacks or brown paper. they are about £6.99 i think for their cheapest option.
