What should i do?

I won and paid for an item on ebay on the 8th oct. I forgot about it till tonight when i went on ebay. Anyway i saw she is selling the same item.
I have sent an email asking if it has been sent yet and i know that the postal strike is holding stuff up but when i looked at the item i saw it says exactly the same as what the one i won said (the sanil is a bit tempremental but should play a tune)

What do i do? I paid through paypal so i know i won it and it has been paid for.

send another email saying that you understand mistakes can happen state when you paid and then say of you do not receive the item or a refund you will report her to ebay at the end of the day. then is she does not reply raise a paypal dispute and report to ebay.

Yvonne might have some better advice, but that what I would do.... it wasn't me was it????? Just checked and I've got nothing outstanding for you lol had me worried for a bit.

It is common for someone to have two items the same - especially dealers - however, you should be able to ask for money back if the buyer cannot provide you with an answer when the goods can not be sent. As others have said if the seller does not reply raise a dispute and Im sure they will reply prompto !

Well i have heard nothing.
I sent another message today as i didnt actually say which item i won in my panic last night.
I said in this that i was a little concerned as the item seemed to be the same as one i one and it would be great if she could get in touch with me to releive my fears.

The only difference is that it says a hole in the fabric at the front. The spelling and wording is the same in the rest of it.

Do you still think it could be a different item? It states that the snail plays music but is tempremental in both of them. How likely is it that a dealer would have two items with the same issue?

Im really gutted. How long after a sale do i have to raise a dispute?

Looking at the history, she sold one exactly the same on the 15th - same wording etc, so could have had a couple of these maybe :unsure:

Hope they come back to you soon - I think you have to wait a week or 10 days before opening a dispute...:unsure:

Well its been well over 10 days now so if i havent heard off her tomorrow ill send a final email saying that im going to open a dispute if i havent heard from her by thursday.

Lets just hope she has triplets and is getting rid of their stuff seperately!

Aw thanks everyone for your advice on this one.

Turns out im a total worry wart and need to chill and see the good side sometimes instead of thinking the worst!

It arrived this morning and i looked at the post date ....... the 9th of October! Grrr bloody royal mail have a lot to answer for!

Millie loves it though - the high pitched squeal of excitement (you know the one ... so high pitched that only dogs can hear in a 3 mile radius lol) that she was practicing at 3am this morning came in good use when she was playing with it!

I emailed the seller and appologised for the panic and let her know i had recieved it.

Still hadnt heard from her though so i dont know if she is away or something!
She will get home to 3 manic messages on ebay from me! :cheesy:
