I am sure this has been asked before. If I want to use Articles already produced, can I copy and paste?

Would it be ok to copy them and change some wording around so it is not exact? Is there anywhere you can go to get Articles?

I asked about articles ages ago, couldn't find out what I needed to and left it at that. Not sure about copying them though.

i used to be a journalist...and you can't just copy someone elses work. Even if you reword it it may still be identified. It is plagiarism

Do you mean you want to be the author? or that you want to credit them?

There are various sites you can go to to copy articles but you MUST credit the author. Why don't you have a go at writing your own? You could then get potential links back to your own site.

Lemon why don't you have a go at writing one yourself. I'm writing one atm and once you get going it's quite easy lol

Well, that's where I am unsure tbh. I want to use some facts ie Disney's first characters history and the only proper information I can find out about it is on the Disney website - so I could print it out and then use the information to use in my article?

I guess you could use facts, just put a bit of text at the bottom of the article to say where the facts came from

Surely if its using facts like you say then its just researching the history to than add it to your own article?

If there is anything on wikipedia about your subject, you are allowed to copy it as long as you attribute it properly, there are guidelines on the site as to what you have to do.

I've lifted material from wikipedia before now for a tourist website.

Basically this is how you write an article... work out your topic and your structure, search for the information you want, then re-write it in your own words and slot it into your structure. Credit statistics etc to where you've got them from if appropriate.

As long as it is all referenced. Just put a star next to the facts and a footnote at the bottom of the article saying where they came from
