I got MZ in my favorites but now when I click on in it says database has a problem. Is this because of the update? do I just need to refresh the favorite?
It was a different message to the one when MZ was down if that helps
Thanks

for future - screenshots are easy to do. If you press your 'print screen' button (either with ctrl held down or not depending on your keyboard.) then you can paste the image into an email or word or a graphics package etc. The image is held in your clipboard until you next copy something.
Note it captures the whole of your screen so unless you want people to see your other stuff, minimize everything else and expand the window you are capturing so it fills up your screen.

Is it always at the same time of night for you? Are you sure its not a setting on your computer with your ISP that could be causing it?

Mine goes down around once a day still. Often it seems to be when I've been on the site for a while but not posted, then I click new posts and that's when it goes down. I can live with once a day though!

Mines still being odd (bit like me then!) - it hangs when I try to read posts, prob 2 out of 10 times - the only way I can get MZ back is to go to yahoo and then type the addy into the bar at the top - MZ is my home page, but it wont come up - who knows?

Can you do me a favour Ellie
Could you go to the bottom of the page and you should see a pull down bar - could you chose the "test" template please - although you will find some things missing on that at present such as gallery and arcade etc. and let me know if that makes any difference.
Thanks

OOh, though, not sure about the thanks bit on your profiley type thing - feel my competitive side coming out now...!!!! - oooooh, ANDDDDDDDDD - just realised... - NO SMILIES!!!! - OH NO!!!!
Just found smilies - aaahh!

I've tried everything. Deleting cookies, files and logging off but it still keeps happening. It's really strange. Never mind it doesn't happen enough to worry about.

Ok I've clicked on test and it's gone back to the basic style of vbulletin. Is that right?

Ok well I had a go on all the different versions  and now I'm back to the original one. So I assume I just wait and see if it's cured it?
Thanks Sarah x

Toni, just to let you know have used the test template all afternoon , and not a single problem. Maybe its just me and my settings, I dont know, but I'll stick with it! - just wanted to let u know (sensible head on now, funny half hour passed!)
Ravenfire
16-10-2007, 08:09 PM
OK thanks Ellie. The test has no modifications added to it so what I plan to do eventually is add everything on to it bit by bit to see if we can find the problem! Thanks for helping x
Sarah
