HHHHEEELLLPPPP BEING SPAM-MED!

Can anyone help as you know i am a complete technophobe ! i have just logged into my horde email account and i have 196 e mails from postmaster etc and as quick as i am deleting them they are coming in???? why all of a suddon am i getting this, its normally 6 a day offering me v?i?a?g?r?a

what should i do? getting annoyed now..

Ive had this problem as well today. About a million (slight exhageration :cheesy:) telling me they are ready to give me a loan!! I am so sick of them! But like you I dont have a clue how to stop it, so I am not much use at all really :cheesy:

I get zillions of these on my littlesheep-learning addresses - I keep meaning to ask Daffs if there is anything she can do to the server to block them... the only thing I *know* is don't click on any links in them or reply as that confirms the address is a real one and you'll get more

you know those emails have a "unsubscribe"? did you by any chace press it? if so that could be your problem, never ever do what it says to unsubscribe. because as soon as you do, they know that your account is active

Anyone else know how to block the ruddy things as i have just deleted another 89!!!!!!

not at lot can be done about receiving spam, filters are not ideal, but I'll have a look for you both, check there's nothing esle we can change on the servers

I have the same-I had a huge amount at one stage, but it's died down now.

And no, I still don't want to impress the girls with my p-e-n-i-s, thank you very much :cheesy:

I will speak to my server manager, I don't get any spams to any email addys on the new server. Strange that you do unless your addresses have been farmed, etc. I'll drop them an email after Peter has investigated, he is far more techy than I.

Its happening again! 947 emails tonight, all returned from postmaster etc....anyone help or advise?

Ketty have you recently put your email address on any forums posts whether on here or any other forum, if so thats how your email address is harvested!
