Almost a year to the day since he first had an inner ear infection, we found him having a funny turn when we came home from Aldi this morning (he'd been perfectly fine a few hours before but I just had the niggly feeling that there was something just not quite right before we popped out shopping), took him straight to the vet where he said it was an ear infection again (must be to do with the change of weather at this time of year). Poor little thing squealed his head off when he had the antibiotic injection. Somehow I have to give him anitbiotics orally for the next 3 weeks. Fingers crossed it clears up the infection for good for this year.

but you know what really annoys me is when we get him home and the little bugger goes straight for his food dish as if there was nothing wrong at all

lol bless him - the lot of anti b's he's just had must have kicked in quick - almost like the ol' calpol with children.

and why does he always decide to be ill just before the vets is about to close for the day, I swear he does it deliberately, got a feeling he'll be getting me to pamper him all weekend long. Which reminds me I'd better go and get him some fresh grass from outside before I mow the lawn.

yeah, Suzi, it's so scary watching him on his side having what looks like a fit (it's just that he can't get his balance and feels funny), god knows what i'll be like the day I have a child of my own

well giving him antibiotics by mouth was quite easy, was so nice having him in the bedroom last night (just so I keep keep a listen out incase he had another funny turn), he was so polite and waited until morning before he drank out of his bottle, don't think he wanted to wake us up with the noise

ok, is this what it's like to have a baby in the same room, at 2:30 am this morning he wanted a carrot, then all I can hear is him crunching his dried food. *touch wood* he does seem better
