My sister has a dopey Golden retriever. She took her over the field for a walk and let her off the lead when she saw a Staffie heading for her, my sister said she realised what was about to happen and started to run towards 'Ellie' calling her but the staffie got there first and started attacking her. As my sister got close she slipped and slid into the dogs making the staffie let go but Ellie's mouth had been ripped. My sister told the owner, who had done nothing to stop his dog and also had a Rottweiller on a lead, that he should keep the Staffie on a lead, he was abusive to her. Poor Ellie had to go to the vets and have stiches and it cost £300.

did she get him name and address she should report him to the dog warden, as this appears to be a dangerous dog to let loose.

oh no, how awful! our samson was bitten by another labrador a few months ago and it cost us £70 in anti biotics and painkillers, the guy who owned the dog didn't give any warning at all! it is shocking and he should have been on a lead! hope ellie is ok soon xxx

That dog should have been controlled I hate irresponsibles owners.
Is there anyway you can get the owners name? he really needs reporting, next time it could be a child.

Hope your sisters beloved dog is ok

Ah poor doggie, we have a dopey goldie too and I hate it when horrible dogs start on him. Breaks my heart watching him trying to get away and get back to me whilst the horrible dog is attacking him. Fingers crossed no blood has been shreaded yet.

The problem is when trying to report him how do you get their name, they won't give you their details as they know what your going to do and also at the time your too worried about your doggie.

My sister started to follow him to see where he lived but then realised how bad the dog had been injured and so had to take her home, she did report it to the police.
