..my dp's nana's dog, a little lhasa apso until Tuesday. She's very sweet, albeit not very well trained!

On a walk I noticed her limping so after doing some research online (not trying to be a vet, honest!) I think she has a hereditary joint condition. I want to tell dp's nan, but will I look like I'm poking my nose in???

I think it's only mild but would be happier knowing that she'll be taken to the vets for a check up to make sure.

What to do.

You've got to think of the dog. If you think she is suffering even only a tiny bit then you need to get her checked out. I'm sure his nan won't think you are poking your nose in.:kisshands:

Thanks, I know you're right. Just need to be told sometimes, lol. :cheesy:

Has it been limping all the times or just started? It's actually quite common for grass seeds to get cut in their paws which can cause them to limp?

She does it all the time, I first noticed it a few months back when walking her, this is the first time I've looked after her.

Maybe you could say that to her? That you have noticed the dog has been limping for a while and it may be an idea for the vet to check her over?

Yeah, I will have to say something, although dp said that she's asked a vet about it and has been told it's normal. Hmmm, not so sure it is!

But I will mention it again.
