dont leave them in the window. If the sun gets on them and they get to hot they die. I found that one out

They don't get that big, basically the old ones die and new ones are born but there's never too many for their bowl, if that makes sense. I think they can live for years! (well, different generations of them!) but my ds's died after a few months.

ty all u can get them in woolworths,toysrus,some argos they r good couldnt belive they worked

My DD used to have them. The first lot didnt work as we left them on the window sill so we had to buy more and they lasted for ages but the little tank goes all horrible after a while

yes you can toys r us sell just the water purifier,eggs and food about a fiver i think

i thought that to hun lol they r shrimp like creatures that breed when u add powder to water ugly things lol but can live upto 2yrs so they say
