Oh I'm sorry to hear that. I would say put it out of its misery but I don't know what that would invlove tbh. And I personally couldn't do it as I'm too squeamish.

I hope that whatever happens it is swift for the poor fish.

sometimes, if you lift the fish just out of the water, so that it can breath a little air, that will revive it, just dont leave it out the water for too long. Fingers Crossed

never thought of this!!!! would make sense to try because sometime the fish is not strong enough to make it up to the top for air

i went out shopping and when i came back the poor thing was dead.
Only got one left now...just hope he is ok...he looks ok bt he is being abit sensitive to the light on in the tank..it hides if i turn it on..even leave it on for a while to see if he gets used to it, but he just hides behind a rock...turned it off and he is swimming about.
thanks all :kisshands: 20061010

sick123123 Little fish.

I know its too late know, but for future reference. What I have done on numerous occasions with our goldfish is keep the fishbowl under the running tap then empty some out , then keep filling again. This really does bring life back to the fish. We had one right on death door the other day , managed to bring it back by doing this . Works a treat.

hope the other little one is doing OK.
