We slung for the first time today - didnt go anywhere but had to take pics.

Its really comfy. A bit fiddly to start with but now i have been shown how to use it its actually really easy.
I got it from Lilyslings online but im lucky i know the woman who owns the site through a sling meet group so she came yesterday and showed me how to use it.

Yeah its a ring sling. I have two Mei Tais and have my eye on a wrap at the moment for when we move but they are sooooo pricey.

Yep it was via sling meet. I have been to a couple of meets and did a workshop on front wrap carrying not long ago. Was really helpfull.

They look so much more secure than the baby carriers that go on the front - I always found that they never sat close to my chest and if I bent down the baby always seemed as though it would fall out!

Awww, Simone she looks so snuggly in there! I loved my sling when I had Abbie, it was so liberating!

I used Brightspark slings and found them really good value for money! I used to walk around town and breastfeed at the same time! The best tool ever for a new born!

The sling is gorgeous too, love the colours. You'll get lots of smiles and people asking questions, people used to come up to me all the time!

Picking this comment up again, can I ask which wrap? There are some v reasonable ones out there atm. Not organic but 'german style' and super-supportive. Like Merry Carry and Amazonas.
