Anyone had a problem with a male cat that has been neutered suddenly start spraying?

No, but is he feeling 'theatened' ie is there another 'strange' cat around?

I did .... my black cat many years ago, even though he was neutered, sprayed everything!! We tried everything to stop him, but basically it was psychological (bit of an insecurity thing). He did it even more if we moved the furniture around .... think that made him even more unsure.

Nowadays there is a spray (pheromone) thing that you can get from the vet which basically gives off an unpleasant odour to cats to stop them spraying - they tend to do it in the same places and the spray did work for my sister - her cat stopped (she's a vet nurse btw).

Anyway ... try to work out what's making kitty nervous or anxious and hopefully if you can find out what it is then you can stop him before you have to pay out for sprays!!!!

my mums cat used to be like that, nothing from the vet stopped him at all, I think hes stopped now, but of his own choice.
