Hello, its Mally (Lisa's Hubby)

I'm working on the following forum which is Booze Britain

I hope in the furture it will be a forum where you can find out info on good nights out in the uk. Suitable for boys, girls, hens, stags etc.. and also a place to add your pictures to show your mates..

I'm currently in the design process for a logo. Can you please have a look at the following page and let me know your thoughts and which ones you prefer etc...

I like concept 1b and 4c

that doesn't help much does it!

Concept 4 is the one I like the best specifically 4c. I like the font in 3c though and that one has potential but the bottles do look a bit naff.

I like 1c....bold and stands out and looks a bit more 'classy'. I think the bottles in concept 3 look a bit..err...naff? and I do quite like concept 4 but felt a bit male orientated. hth.

i like the last ones with the union jack...but the only thing i will say is it reminds me of a programme on bravo called booze britian and it highlights the negative side of britains drinking habits...not sure if it something you can change now but at first i thought it would have similar content to the programme not the fun side of britains night life....hope this helps

Hmm - I would say concept 4 is the best logo for reflecting the name - BUT, I know it is wrong, but the Union flag now does have NF connotations ...

The ideas in Concept 3 say to me 'young and fun' - but I agree with the others that those particular cartoon bottles do look a little erm ... amateurish.

I like 1a, and the piccys with the union jacks on them.
The ones with the dancers look a bit saturday night fever to me, (ie not a 'modern' image) and I don't like the bottles!

Of all the concepts I like the bottles with the faces on best - they need some tweaking though!

I quite like the ones with the couple dancing, but having spent many hours trawling through Istock, they do seem like very familiar stock images to me, so not particularly original.

I have to say, I really don't like the Newcastle Brown shaped bottles, nor the union flag concepts - they seem very macho and 'patriotic' to me.

Agree with duck_egg about the Booze Britain image too.

When I first saw them I liked concept 3, as it seem the one with the most "fun" and "flirty" image..

I'm not sure if anyone else has had logo's designed, but Its quite hard, working out what you'd like lol..

Ref the booze britain tv program.. The program from memory did portray the "drunken antic's" of certain cities in the uk..

I hope to change that image though with the use of this forum, so people can share there experiences of nights out, especially if you were visiting some where new..

I recently went to London with a few mates and had big problems getting in the bars and clubs, if only I knew that before going we could have booked up in advance.

For what it's worth i liked 4c, but I really think the name is misleading. The booze Britain name will alienate alot of people don't you think??

Honest opinion on the logo? It would make me think of stag nights/hen party of drunken people in Blackpool or the like. I think it needs to be a bit classier.

The problem I've got is people aged between 18-30 are more likely to be active on chatrooms and up for travelling to other cities for stag and hen do's.

If I make it more classier this may alienate the target group.

I think its the flag which brings it down. The bottles look flirty, a different background would change the look a lot.
