where do you go for info on what you can and can not sell?
I am thinking about buying some new handcrafted wooden gifts from Germany.
How do I know if I can sell them over here - is there a site that tells you what to look at for?

Well, you could try the DTI or Trading Standards - the DTI, for example, provide guidance regarding cord strings in kids clothes for retailers.

I'm sure some of the other Gift retailers will give you better advice but I would think that EU law is the guide here and that providing the gifts comply with that you should be oK?
