Haven't seen it but very unsure - I really enjoyed the original (mind you, it's been years since I last saw it) and the thought of John Travolta in drag is so wrong!

Hoping to go and see it with a friend but I don't think it will be as good as the original.

dont know about the original cos Ive never seen it! Seen the newone last night though, it was ok, maybe even good but not fantastic iykwim, Id wait for the dvd and watch it on a sunday afternoon. JT in drag was wrong!!

I can't believe that they remade this!! I remember going and getting that film out on video with my hubby when we were going out together the first time around. We were around 17 yrs old then!! We absolutely hated the film & we were a bit peeved as we had to go and take the film back once as the first video we were given did not work & we wished that we had not bothered!!

Certainly will not be bothering with the remake!
