Maybe its just me, but I sort of find this statistic amusing. Not the fact that there have been less accidents - that is great, but the fact that the number of speeding convictions have gone down. It couldn't be anything to do with the fact that locals, and visitors with Sat Nav or even with AA Travel Instructions, have detailed info on where the fixed speed cameras are, and therefore slow down for the camera could it?? :unsure:

mind you i do have to confess to have flashed my lights at everyone today after i passed 4 lots of policeman with the radar gun things in less than 2 miles of road!!!

Although I have to admit, thats what I do aswell, and then I phone DH and tell him where they are, and he does the same for me.

We haven't slowed down - we've just got clever and cottoned on to them :cheesy:

same with us as well! there are lights flashing everywhere at the moment becuse of huge number of police becasue of glastonbury festival!!
