Maybe its just me, but I sort of find this statistic amusing. Not the fact that there have been less accidents - that is great, but the fact that the number of speeding convictions have gone down. It couldn't be anything to do with the fact that locals, and visitors with Sat Nav or even with AA Travel Instructions, have detailed info on where the fixed speed cameras are, and therefore slow down for the camera could it?? :unsure:
